This site is dedicated to the memory of Alan Bateman, much loved husband, father, brother, uncle and grand-father who sadly left us on May 20th, 2014, in St Leonards on Sea, England.
Alan has many friends and family across the world, many of whom we're sure would like to have been able to be here. Unfortunately distance makes this impossible but hopefully this is a way in which we can close this gap and come together to fondly remember him.

I was saddened to hear the passing of Mr.Bateman.I remember him from Richards and Sarah's weddings a jovial man; intersted in everyone and everything.This must be a very difficult time foy you. You have my deepest sympathy. Tim Barrington

Apart from valuing Alan as a great colleague to work with we also became good friends initiated on the many business trips we did together including one memorable weekend in New Orleans. He will be sadly missed.”

Alan was my host on my first trip to Europe that included my first Swiss venison dinner with double servings. I think of him every time I land in Europe. He was a true gentleman, a long distance mentor, and good friend.
